Bless Kenya!

In a small village in western Kenya we are training the next generation of Christ followers to reach the nations with the Gospel of Jesus.

UPDATE: We raised enough to purchase the motorcycle for the Kenya base and it is already delivered. I will arrive mid August and teach for a week at the Kaleo School of Ministry and also spend several days with a Harvest Alliance ministry based in Kisumu, Kenya. Scroll down to see a photo of the bike at the base in Kenya awaiting my arrival!!!

Kenya

Kenya is a nation in eastern Africa with a relatively stable economy and government compared to many of the African countries. Kaleo International with whom I frequently work has a training base in western Kenya about 2 hours north of Kisumu which is on the shore of Lake Victoria. At this base they have a full time accredited Bible Training Institute that has students from many African nations. Additionally they use the base to train short term students for the Kaleo Missions and Leadership Schools from Europe and around the world.

In 2017 New Day Community Church donated the funds to build the first structure on the property in Kenya. This church has been used significantly to bless the region. It still is used as the church as well as the various schools as a training center for east Africa.

Additional building have been added over the years. In 2024 a multiple story building will be completed adding a dormitory and classrooms to the base. This will dramatically increase the capacity of the base both for the full time Bible Institute and the various Schools of Ministry conducted on the property.

Students trained at this base are being sent to many of the surrounding regions and nations including several “closed nations.” Indigenous students from regions in Africa and elsewhere where Christianity is opposed come to this base to be trained and equipped for the work of ministry to these unreached populations.

Motorcycles are the primary mode of transportation in this part of the world. Unfortunately most motorcycles that are available are very poor quality imports from China and are prone to breakdown as they are not built to endure the difficult terrain. Thanks to the support of those who prayed and donated money this 250CC dual sport motorcycle specifically designed for Kenya has already been purchased and delivered to the base. In the picture on below you can see one of the Kaleo directors Don Ragland on the left and Peter on the right who leads the base in Kenya.
